"It's ok if you lose. When you don't play, you lose even more."
7-year-old Donovan Crumrine

Donovan’s quote was posted by his mother in the Chi-To-Be! group on LinkedIn (

His quote stopped me in my tracks because it reminded me of Chi-To-Be! Energy Surge #2 -- Do It Your Way Any Way You Can!

I'm currently at the beginning of a number of new projects and goals related to Chi-To-Be!   I am in the Seeding stage (see Chi-To-Be! Energy Surge #3 -- Tending To Your B-All Garden) and there are an abundance of intentional activities to be implemented (see Chi-To-Be! Energy Surge #1 -- Scheduling For Success).

My mind has been filling up with all the details that I am choosing to address in order to bring these goals into the blooming stage where they can be harvested.

I have been taking it all too seriously and squeeeeeeeezing all the fun out of the process. After reading Donovan’s quote, I now realize that I have been allowing my fears of 'losing' to come to the surface rather than allowing myself to play as much as possible.

What a welcome reminder that I can choose instead to approach these goals as if I am playing an enjoyable game and with great anticipation of winning!

As Donovan says, no matter what the outcome...I have won just by choosing to play.

And, that is the purest essence of Chi-To-Be! Energy Surge #2 -- Do It Your Way, Any Way You Can!
